Game jerseys and practice jerseys are different garments
A game jersey is cut to sit over shoulder pads, which changes the shoulder and chest pattern rather than simply adding width. It is usually the more decorated of the two, with sublimated numbers, sleeve stripes and team marks.
A practice jersey is made to be worn repeatedly through a week and washed hard. It is typically simpler — mesh or lighter fabric, minimal decoration, often just a number — and teams frequently order more of them per player than game jerseys. Order them as one project so the fit is consistent, and tell us the ratio you need.

Construction
Football places load on the jersey in ways other sports do not. Seams take grabbing and pulling through contact, so shoulder and side seams are reinforced and the fabric is chosen for tear resistance as much as for hand.

We manufacture apparel. We do not make, supply or certify protective equipment — helmets, shoulder pads or hard protection of any kind — and nothing we produce should be treated as protective gear. Where a garment carries pad pockets, the pads themselves are yours to source.
Numbers and team marks
Numbers are sublimated into the jersey fabric, which keeps them flat under pads and avoids the lifting that applied numbers develop through contact and repeated washing. Front, back and sleeve numbers are all standard placements.
Number size and placement are governed by the rules of your league or association, and those requirements differ between high school, college and club levels. Send us your league's specification with your artwork and we will produce to it.

Ordering a squad
Football rosters carry an unusually wide spread of body types, from skill positions through to linemen, and a single grade rarely serves both well. Tell us the size range at enquiry, including your largest sizes, so the pattern is graded for the whole roster rather than scaled up from a medium.
Send the roster with number and size against each name at order stage. Numbers cannot be added to a jersey after it is cut without a separate run.
