Our Manufacturing Capabilities

Linkworld International has been manufacturing custom apparel from Sialkot, Pakistan since 1990. This page sets out each capability we run, what it actually covers, and what we need from you to use it. Cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, finishing and packing are handled in our own facility.

Design and tech packs

We work from whatever you have. A complete tech pack is fastest; artwork files, technical drawings, reference photographs or a garment you want matched all work. Where no tech pack exists we can prepare one, and a design or setup fee may apply depending on the work required.

Before anything is quoted, the development team reads your design against what is manufacturable and comes back with the gaps — a placement that will cross a seam, artwork resolution that will not hold at print size, a fabric weight that will not support the fit you drew.

Fabric sourcing

Fabric is sourced against your specification rather than substituted from a house standard. Cotton and heavyweight cotton, French terry, brushed fleece, combed jersey, performance polyester, sports mesh, poly blends, two- and four-way stretch, twill, canvas and denim.

If you do not know the fabric you want, describe what the garment has to do — weight, stretch, breathability, climate, behaviour after wash — and we will recommend against that. Specifying a weight range rather than a single GSM often lets us quote in-stock fabric, which is cheaper and faster than dyeing to order.

Pattern development

Patterns are drafted from your tech pack, your measurement chart, a reference garment you send, or a fit you describe. Once drafted the pattern is graded across your full size run.

An approved pattern is held and reused, so a reorder or a second colourway comes back the same shape rather than being redrafted each season.

Sampling

Sampling depends on the product, the quantity and how much development the design needs. For projects requiring a physical sample, one is produced and shipped for approval before bulk manufacturing. For selected low-MOQ orders, a pre-production sample or video may be prepared for approval instead.

The method, cost and timeline for your project are confirmed with the quotation. Sample payments are settled upfront, and bulk production does not begin until the approval stage is signed off.

Cutting

Fabric is relaxed before it is laid up — cutting a knit straight off the roll is how a garment comes back a size out after the first wash. Panels are cut from the graded marker, which controls both fabric consumption and grain direction.

Cut parts are bundled by size and colourway and ticketed, so panels from one lay stay together through assembly and shade variation is not introduced by mixing bundles.

Printing

Screen printing, sublimation, DTF, puff print and heat transfer are run in house. Which method a garment gets is a technical decision: sublimation needs a polyester base and gives full-coverage graphics; screen print holds flat spot colour on cotton; DTF handles photographic and multi-colour artwork on short runs.

  • Screen printing — per-colour setup, low per-piece cost at volume
  • Sublimation — colour count is nearly free, polyester base required
  • DTF and heat transfer — low setup, suits short runs and complex artwork
  • Puff and high-density print — raised finish on streetwear graphics
  • All-over and panel printing before assembly

Every method is run on a test piece in the actual production fabric before the order is run.

Embroidery

Artwork is digitised to a stitch file, tested on a swatch in the production fabric, and adjusted before it goes near the order. Density that looks right on screen will pucker a light jersey and vanish into a heavy fleece.

  • Flat and multi-head embroidery
  • 3D puff embroidery
  • Chenille patches
  • Appliqué and tackle twill
  • Embroidered crests, badges and name blocks

Stitching

Assembly runs in lines with each operation on a dedicated machine — overlock, flatlock, coverstitch, bartack. A supervisor checks the first pieces off each line against the approved sample before the balance is released, which is where most measurement problems are either caught or baked in.

Quality control

Fabric, cutting, decoration, in-line stitching, measurements, colour consistency, finishing, labels and packing are all checked against the approved sample and size chart. Because the processes are in house, inspection happens between stages rather than only on completion.

We do not operate a testing laboratory. If your buyer requires third-party lab testing or a specific certification, raise it at quotation stage and it can be arranged externally.

Finishing

Thread trimming, pressing, and fitting of drawcords, zip pulls, eyelets and hardware. Garments are finished to the standard set by the approved sample, not to a generic house standard.

Private labels and branding

Garments are finished entirely under your own branding. Woven main labels, neck prints, size and care labels, hangtags, printed tape, custom zip pulls and rubber patches are all applied in house.

Trim suppliers set their own minimum quantities, and those are frequently higher than a first garment run. Ask for trim minimums at quotation stage rather than after you commit.

Packaging

Bulk polybag and carton packing is the baseline. Retail-ready packaging — individual branded polybags, tissue, boxes, stickers, folded presentation — is produced to your specification and priced per unit.

Decide packaging before production starts. Specified afterwards, it means garments are unpacked and repacked.

Export and shipping

Carton marking, packing lists and export documentation are prepared with the shipment. Courier and freight are both available; which is right depends on destination, order size and weight.

We ship worldwide, including to Europe, the United States and New Zealand. Cost and transit time are confirmed with your quotation. Import duty and taxes at your destination are set by your country and are not included in a factory quote.

Where to go next

Each of these stages is covered in more depth elsewhere on the site. The factory page walks the floor in production order, the process page sets out the twelve stages of an order end to end, and the quality control page lists exactly what is checked and when.

Frequently asked questions

Which of these are actually done in your own facility?
Cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, finishing and packing are handled in our own facility in Sialkot. Fabric and trims are sourced from mills and suppliers, as they are anywhere in the industry.
Can you handle a project that needs only some of these?
Yes. Some brands arrive with a finished tech pack and an approved fit and need production only; others need development from a reference image. Tell us where you are and we will quote the stages you actually need.
Do you do cut-and-sew, private label, or both?
Both. Cut-and-sew from your own pattern is our main business, and we also produce private-label garments where that suits the brand better. The comparison between the two is set out in our guide.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the garment, the fabric and how many colourways and sizes the order is split across. Ask for the MOQ per style, per colourway and per size — a single headline number rarely reflects what your range actually costs to produce.
