Custom Basketball Uniform Manufacturer
Linkworld International manufactures custom basketball uniforms — sublimated jerseys with matching shorts, reversible practice sets and shooting shirts, produced to your design for clubs, schools, leagues and teamwear brands.
Jersey and short as one set
Basketball is ordered as a set almost without exception, and the two garments are cut from the same fabric so the colour reads as one uniform under arena lighting. Where a side panel or a waistband stripe carries across from the jersey to the short, that continuity is specified at pattern stage rather than matched by eye at sampling.
- Sublimated jerseys, sleeveless or sleeved
- Matching shorts with side panels and taped seams
- Reversible jersey and short sets for practice
- Shooting shirts and warm-up tops
- Warm-up pants with side snaps or full zip
Necklines and arm openings
The neckline and armhole finish is what separates a basketball jersey that looks right from one that does not, and it is the detail most often left unspecified on an enquiry.
A self-fabric bound edge gives a clean flat finish and is light. A knitted rib trim in a contrast colour gives the traditional look and a little more structure around the opening. Arm openings are cut deeper on a baggy fit than on a standard one, so the trim length changes with the fit — a spec that says "rib trim" without saying which fit is only half a specification.
- Self-fabric binding on neck and armhole
- Contrast knitted rib trim
- V-neck, scoop and crew necklines
- Deep-cut arm openings on baggy fits
Fit
Two fits cover most orders. A standard athletic fit sits closer through the body with a regulation armhole. A baggy fit runs wider through the chest and waist with a longer body and a deeper armhole, and is what most teams mean when they ask for a throwback look.
Shorts length is specified as an inseam measurement rather than a description, because "long" means different things in different leagues. Give us the inseam you want, or a reference short to match.
Fabric
- Polyester interlock for sublimated jerseys and shorts
- Sports mesh for panels and reversible layers
- Micro-mesh where a lighter jersey is wanted
- Polyester–elastane where some stretch is required in the short
Reversible sets are built from two bonded or joined layers, so they run heavier than a single-layer jersey. If a team trains in a warm hall, that weight is worth considering before choosing reversible over two separate sets.
Numbers, names and league rules
Numbers are sublimated into the fabric on a sublimated jersey, which keeps the surface flat and avoids the cracking that heat-applied numbers develop over a season. Names, where used, sit above the back number.
Number size, placement and which digits are permitted are governed by the rules of the league you play in, and those rules differ between federations and age groups. Confirm your league's requirements and send them with your artwork — we will produce to the specification you give us, but we cannot verify your league's rulebook on your behalf.
Size grading
Basketball squads have an unusually wide size range, and a design that looks balanced on a medium can look wrong on a 3XL if the artwork is not graded with the pattern. Where a design has large side panels or a chest graphic, we scale the artwork across the size run so the proportions hold. Tell us the full size range at enquiry so the grading is planned rather than retrofitted.

Frequently asked questions
- Do you manufacture reversible basketball uniforms?
- Yes. Reversible jersey and short sets are built from two joined layers, which makes them heavier than a single-layer jersey. That is worth weighing up if the team trains in a warm hall.
- Can you match a specific shorts length?
- Yes. Specify the inseam measurement you want, or send a reference short to match. Descriptions like "long" vary too much between leagues to work from reliably.
- Are numbers printed or sublimated?
- On a sublimated jersey the numbers are dyed into the fabric, which keeps the surface flat and avoids the cracking heat-applied numbers develop over a season.
- Will the design scale correctly across a wide size run?
- Yes, if we know the range at enquiry. Artwork with large side panels or chest graphics is scaled with the pattern across the grade so proportions hold from small through to the largest size.
- Can you confirm our uniforms meet league rules?
- We produce to the specification you supply. Number size, placement and permitted digits differ between federations and age groups, so confirm your league requirements and send them with your artwork.
