Manufacturing FAQ
- What products can Linkworld International manufacture?
- We manufacture fully custom streetwear and sportswear, including oversized T-shirts, hoodies, sweatsuits, tracksuits, football kits, American football jerseys, baseball jerseys, motocross jerseys, shorts, jackets, crop tops, gloves, balaclavas and other cut-and-sew garments. We can support brands from sampling through bulk production.
- Can you work with a new brand or a smaller first order?
- Yes. We regularly work with new and developing brands. A sample-first or smaller initial production is a good way to validate fit, fabric, construction and market response before increasing quantities. MOQ depends on the specific product and design.
- Do you make samples before bulk production?
- Sampling depends on the product, quantity and development requirements. For projects requiring a physical sample, we can produce one before bulk manufacturing. For selected low-MOQ orders, a pre-production sample/video may be prepared for approval before the bulk run proceeds. The exact sampling process, cost and timeline are confirmed with the quotation.
- How long does sampling take?
- Sampling depends on the product, quantity and development requirements. As an estimate only, a straightforward physical sample has often taken around 10 to 15 days once specifications and payment are confirmed — an estimate, not a guaranteed schedule. The timeline for your project is confirmed with the quotation.
- Do you provide digital mockups before production?
- Yes. Where required, we prepare a final digital mockup showing the relevant front and back views, artwork placements, colors, logos and other details. Production does not begin until the final design/mockup has been reviewed and approved.
- Can you help if we only have artwork or reference images?
- Yes. You can send artwork, reference images, mockups or a tech pack. If production-ready artwork needs to be prepared, a design/setup fee may apply. For example, some projects have used a EUR 40 design/setup fee, depending on the work required.
- What customization and branding options are available?
- Options include embroidery, screen printing, sublimation, DTF, puff print, patches, woven labels, neck labels, size/care labels, hangtags and other custom branding. The most suitable technique depends on the garment, artwork and intended finish.
- What fabrics and materials are available?
- We offer a wide range of fabrics and weights depending on the product, including cotton, heavyweight cotton, French terry, performance polyester, sports mesh, polyester blends, stretch fabrics and other specialty materials. We can recommend the most suitable fabric based on fit, GSM, breathability, durability and end use.
- Can you manufacture premium oversized and boxy garments?
- Yes. We can develop oversized, boxy and drop-shoulder fits with specifications such as heavyweight cotton, structured collars, premium stitching and custom finishing. Exact measurements can be developed from your tech pack, size chart, reference garment or approved sample.
- What are your payment terms?
- A 50% deposit is required to begin production and the remaining 50% balance is due before the order is shipped. Payment terms may vary for certain orders and will be confirmed on the quotation or proforma invoice. Sample payments are settled upfront.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- Business bank transfer is our standard payment method and gives an official, traceable record. If you need an alternative, ask and we will confirm what can be accepted for your order. Buyer-protection features depend on your provider and bank, so confirm those directly with them.
- How long does bulk production take?
- Production lead time depends on quantity, construction, materials and customization. The confirmed production schedule is provided with the quotation after specifications are reviewed. As an estimate only, many approved orders have run around 15 to 20 working days to three or four weeks after final approval and the deposit — an estimate, not a guaranteed schedule.
- Do you ship internationally?
- We can arrange international shipping, including to Europe, the United States and New Zealand. The method — courier or freight — along with cost and transit time depends on destination, order size and weight, and is confirmed with your quotation.
- Can you personalize team uniforms with individual names and numbers?
- Yes. Team kits can be produced with individual player names, numbers and sizes while maintaining the same overall team design. We can also combine decoration methods, such as an embroidered crest on the shirt and a printed or sublimated crest on the shorts.
- What information do you need to provide an accurate quotation?
- Send us the product designs or references, estimated quantity, size range, preferred fit, fabric/GSM requirements, decoration methods, branding/packaging requirements and delivery destination. If the designs are already provided, we review them and confirm the remaining technical details before preparing the final quotation and sampling plan.
