Private Label Clothing Manufacturer

Linkworld International manufactures clothing under your label, from first tech pack through to a packed and labelled carton at your destination. Garments are made to your patterns and specification and carry your branding throughout — there is no Linkworld mark on anything that ships.

Three things the term is used for

"Private label" is used loosely in apparel sourcing, and the three things it can mean cost different amounts and take different lengths of time. It is worth being clear which one you are asking for.

  • Blank customisation — a stock garment is bought in and decorated. Fastest and cheapest. The garment itself is not yours and your competitors can buy the same one.
  • Private label relabelling — a factory's existing garment is produced with your labels in it. Quicker than developing a pattern, but the pattern belongs to the factory and is likely sold to others.
  • Custom cut and sew — the pattern, fabric and construction are specified by you and the garment is made from flat fabric. Slower and more expensive per unit, and the product is genuinely yours.

Linkworld is primarily a cut-and-sew manufacturer. We can relabel and we can decorate, but what the factory is built for is making a garment to your specification. If you are choosing between the three, that distinction usually decides it.

The workflow

A private label programme runs in a fixed order, and each stage gates the next. Skipping a stage to save time almost always costs more later.

  • Brief and tech pack — your specification, or one we build with you from references
  • Fabric sourcing — selected against fit, weight, hand and end use
  • Pattern development — drafted from your tech pack, chart or reference garment
  • Sampling — a physical garment to assess
  • Fit approval — the point at which the pattern is locked
  • Size grading — the approved fit graded across your size run
  • Labelling and trims — neck, care and size labels, hangtags, packaging
  • Bulk production
  • Quality control against the approved sample
  • Packing and export

Tech packs

A good tech pack removes most of the back-and-forth. It should carry a technical sketch with callouts, a measurement chart with tolerances, fabric and GSM, trim and thread specifications, artwork with placement and dimensions, colour references, and your labelling requirements.

If you do not have one, that is workable. Send what you have — reference garments, images, a rough measurement chart — and we build the specification with you. Where production-ready artwork has to be prepared, a design and setup fee may apply and is quoted before anything begins.

Labelling

Labelling is what makes the garment yours, and it is the detail most often left too late. Decide the programme before sampling so that labels can be sourced in parallel rather than holding up bulk.

  • Woven neck labels, or a printed neck label where a tagless finish is wanted
  • Care and content labels, to your destination market's requirements
  • Size labels, loose or combined
  • Hangtags, strung or pinned, with your artwork
  • Sewn-in side labels, flags and appliqué
  • Custom polybags, boxes and tissue

Care and content labelling requirements differ by destination market. Tell us where the goods are being sold and confirm the wording your market requires — responsibility for compliance in the destination country sits with the brand importing the goods.

Sampling and fit approval

We prepare a digital mockup before cutting anything. Sampling depends on the product, quantity and development requirements. For projects requiring a physical sample, we can produce one before bulk manufacturing. For selected low-MOQ orders, a pre-production sample/video may be prepared for approval before the bulk run proceeds. The exact sampling process, cost and timeline are confirmed with the quotation.

Fit approval is the gate that matters most. Once you approve the sample, that garment is the reference every bulk piece is inspected against, so measure it properly and check it on a body rather than on a table. A second sample round is normal on a first style and is much cheaper than a bulk run that is nearly right.

Bulk production and quality control

Production lead time depends on quantity, construction, materials and customization. The confirmed production schedule is provided with the quotation after specifications are reviewed. Cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, finishing and packing all run in house in Sialkot.

Inspection is against the approved sample rather than against a general standard: measurements to the agreed tolerance, construction, decoration placement, colour consistency across the run, labelling and packing. If you want a third-party inspection before shipment you are welcome to arrange one — tell us at the start so it is scheduled into the timeline.

Terms and shipping

A 50% deposit is required to begin production and the remaining 50% balance is due before the order is shipped. Payment terms may vary for certain orders and will be confirmed on the quotation or proforma invoice. Sample payments are settled upfront.

Business bank transfer is our standard payment method and gives an official, traceable record. If you need an alternative, ask and we will confirm what can be accepted for your order. Buyer-protection features depend on your provider and bank, so confirm those directly with them.

We can arrange international shipping, including to Europe, the United States and New Zealand. The method — courier or freight — along with cost and transit time depends on destination, order size and weight.

Frequently asked questions

Do you simply relabel existing garments?
That is not our main service. Linkworld is primarily a cut-and-sew manufacturer, making garments to your pattern and specification. We can relabel where that is genuinely what a project needs, but the factory is set up for custom production.
Can you develop the tech pack for us?
Yes. Send reference garments, images or a rough specification and we build the technical package with you. If production-ready artwork has to be prepared, a design and setup fee may apply and is quoted before work starts.
Can we use our own size chart?
Yes. Supply your measurement chart with tolerances, or a reference garment to match. Once the sample fit is approved we grade it across your full size run and hold that pattern for reorders.
Who is responsible for care labelling compliance?
Responsibility sits with the brand importing the goods, because requirements differ by destination market. Tell us where you are selling and confirm the required wording, and we will produce labels to that specification.
Can we arrange our own inspection before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspection is fine — let us know at the start of the order so it can be scheduled into the production timeline rather than added at the end.
